Home Burglarized in Shenandoah; Dog Reported Missing


The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in Shenandoah.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the burglary occurred at a home in the 200 Block of West Oak Street sometime between Thursday, June 2nd, 2022 at 10:00am and Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at 6:10am.

An investigation by police found that someone entered the home and removed two knives, a sword, two propane tanks, and a kerosene heater.

A 7-year-old female pit bull was also inside at the time of burglary. It's not known if the dog was taken or fled due to the backdoor being left open by the suspect.
