Man Faces Charges for Hitting Woman with Baseball Bat in Cass Township


A man is facing charges for hitting a woman with a baseball bat.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Friday, June 17th, 2022, around 10:40pm, Troopers were dispatched to Forest Lane in Cass Township for a report of a domestic dispute.

An investigation by police determined that after a verbal argument, Robert Gleason, 42, of Pottsville struck a woman in the rear of her head with a baseball bat.

Gleason has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment.
