Schuylkill County Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash in North Manheim Township

A Schuylkill County man died in a motorcycle crash in North Manheim Township early Friday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred early Friday, July 8th, 2022, on West Adamsdale Road in North Manheim Township near Schuylkill Haven.

Troopers say Glenn Guldin, 66, of Schuylkill Haven was riding his Harley-Davidson Softail westbound when he crossed the center line on a left hand curve.

Guldin reportedly left the roadway and struck a guy wire to a utility pole and was ejected from the motorcycle.

Troopers say Guldin died from his injuries at the scene where citizens found him several hours after the crash.

Guldin was not wearing a helmet or eye protection at the time of the crash.

West Adamsdale Road was closed for approximately 90 minutes.

Responding to the scene were the Schuylkill Haven Fire Company, Schuylkill EMS, Fire Police, Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Al Barnes, JRL Emergency Services and the Pennsylvania State Police.

The man who died in this accident had a heart attack.That is why he left the center lane and crossed the roadway.Yes he wasn't wearing a helmet but was wearing protective eye wear the responders didn't look hard enough because my friend went down the next day after the accident and found them and gave me the glasses he was wearing.
