A Pottsville man was pronounced dead in Berks County Friday night after he was found with a gunshot wound.
On Friday evening, just before 10:00pm, Reading Police were called to the 200 Block of Penn Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident.
When police arrived, they found David Anderson, 37, of Pottsville, inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound.
Anderson was transported to Reading Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Berks County Deputy Coroner Deb Detweiler pronounced Anderson at 10:19pm with an autopsy scheduled for Monday morning.
Detweiler said no suspect has been identified as of Sunday and there is still an active investigation by Reading Police into the incident.
