The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven have identified the victim of a fatal crash in Schuylkill County on Wednesday morning.
According to Troopers, the crash occurred on Route 443 just east of Luckenbill Road in Wayne Township near Friedensburg.
Police say, just before 5:30am, Michael Mislyan, 19, of Lykens, was driving east on Route 443 when he left the north side of the roadway, traveled down into a ditch and struck a concrete culver.
Mislyan was heavily entrapped in the vehicle when emergency personnel arrived. Mislyan succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was pronounced by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Al Barnes.
State Police continue to investigate the crash.
The crash occurred near Blue Mountain Elementary West Elementary, which prompted a 2-Hour Delay for students of the school.
