A Schuylkill County man has died 3 months after he suffered injuries in a crash.
According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, Leroy Smith, 83, of Barry Township passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.
Smith had been involved in a crash on Monday, March 6, 2023, in the 600 Block of East Main Street in Hegins Township, where he veered off the roadway and struck several parked cars.
Coroner Buglio ruled the manner of death accidental and the cause of death being complications of multiple traumatic injuries.
The Hegins Township Police Department is leading the crash and death investigation.
