Victims Identified from Fatal Crash on Route 183 in Wayne Township

The Pennsylvania State Police have identified the two people that died in Monday's crash on Route 183 in Wayne Township.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred around 2:30pm, Monday, on Route 183 near the intersection with Meadow Brook Drive.

The crash occurred when Carolynn Drum, 39, of New Philadelphia was traveling northbound on Route 183 in a Mitsubishi Outlander and Paul Laudenslager, 46, of Easton was traveling southbound in a Freightliner M2 pulling a trailer.

Troopers say Drum crossed the double yellow line and struck the side of the trailer that the truck was pulling.

Drum and her passenger, 18-year-old Maria Enfinger, also of New Philadelphia, died from their injuries and were pronounced at the scene by the Schuylkill County Coroner's Office.

Drum's other passenger, Adam Pontry, 19, of Wapwallopen was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Laudenslager was not injured.

Route 183 was closed for several hours while the crash was cleared and investigated.
