According to Minersville Borough Police, 47-year-old Michael Domagala, of Minersville, has been charged with simple assault following an incident that occurred on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at a residence on North Fourth Street.
Patrolman Wilson, the investigating officer, reported being dispatched to the home around 6:17 p.m. for a physical domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, he spoke with the victim, who reported that Domagala, crher former significant other and cohabitant, had entered their bedroom and made unwanted sexual advances.
When the victim refused, Domagala allegedly became aggressive, tearing at her clothing and striking her twice in the leg while making threatening remarks. Officers noted visible abrasions on the victim consistent with her account.
Domagala fled the residence before police arrived. A warrant for his arrest has been issued, and he faces charges of simple assault.
