No injuries were reported Friday afternoon after an SUV struck the front of a convenience store in Ashland.
The crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. when an elderly man driving an SUV failed to stop in front of the Ashland Food Mart. The vehicle struck the front wall of the building, causing visible damage.
The impact pushed the store’s front wall inward, forcing a cooler and a skills game out of place. Fortunately, no one inside the store was injured during the incident. The driver also escaped unharmed, and his SUV sustained only minor damage.
Ashland Police responded to the scene and conducted an investigation into the crash.
