Kathleen “Kat” Markle
, Jeddo, passed away unexpectedly on March 30th.

Born in Coaldale on July 17, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Lazorick) Nunemacher.

She was a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a member of Jeddo Stars, Hazleton Heights Gun Club and the Tresckow Hosey.

Kat will be remembered for her kindness, warmth and laughter. She and her husband shared a wonderful life enjoying camping, fishing, hunting, car shows and their many beagles throughout the years including her special companions, Molly, Jenny Mae and Remi.

Surviving is her husband David, with whom she shared 26 devoted years together. Son Derek Schlorf and his fiancé Mary Petritsch, Tamaqua son Charles Schlorf and his wife Julie, Harpers Ferry, WV, stepdaughter Danyelle Markle and her husband Edward Bulka, Pardeesville, sister Theresa Meyers, Fredericksburg, VA, twin brother Raymond Nunemacher and his wife Kathy, Tamaqua, her beloved and cherished granddaughter Rylee Schlorf, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 1:30 P.M. from Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home – Crematory, 530 W. Butler Drive, Drums, PA. Pastor Jack Orr from Jeanesville United Methodist Church will preside. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.

Friends and family are invited to call at the funeral home Friday afternoon from 12:30 P.M. until the time of service.
