A crash involving multiple tractor trailers has closed Interstate 81 southbound in Schuylkill County.
The incident occurred around 7:00am and involved at least 2 tractors trailer where it was reported a crash occurred and both trucks caught fire near the Highridge Exit at mile marker 119.
At least one more flown to an area hospital for their injuries and another was transported by ambulance.
At least one of the trucks was reported to be hauling municipal waste.
As of 9:00am, Interstate 81 southbound remains closed at the Frackville Exit on south.
