Jason Theodore Williams

Jason Theodore Williams, 54, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, at Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown, surrounded by those who loved him.
Born on May 11, 1972, in Pottsville, Jason was the beloved son of Joseph Williams and the late Anna (Micklasavage) Williams.
Jason was a proud and devoted father to his two sons, Matthew Williams and Connor Williams, who were the pride and joy of his life. He was also a loving grandfather to his grandson, Navy, who held a very special place in his heart. Jason cherished every moment he spent with Navy and took great pride in being his grandfather.
Jason worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator and was a proud member of Local 542 Operating Engineers. He took great pride in his work, operating heavy machinery and running the shovel bucket while digging coal. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who took pride in providing for his family and in the work he accomplished.
Those who knew Jason best knew that his favorite place in the world was “the lot.” It was there that he was happiest—hunting, spending time with family and friends, watching his sons ride their dirt bikes, and hosting demolition derbies. “The lot” was more than simply a piece of land to Jason; it was a place filled with laughter, cherished memories, family, friendship, and many of the happiest moments of his life.
Jason will be deeply missed by his sons, Matthew and his fiancée, Kayla, and Connor; his grandson, Navy; his brothers, John Williams and his wife, Tabitha; Jesse Williams and his wife, Michelle; and Joseph Williams and his late wife, Dawn. He is also survived by one niece and four nephews; his uncles, Dennis, Albie, and Tommy; his late uncle, Edward Williams; and many loving cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Jason leaves behind much more than memories. He leaves behind the laughter shared at the lot, the sound of dirt bikes, the stories and memories from hunting trips, the excitement of demolition derbies, and, most importantly, the love he shared with his sons and grandson.
Although his life ended far too soon, the memories Jason created and the love he gave will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Until we meet again, Jason. Save us a spot at the lot.

David Owen Scheitrum

David Owen Scheitrum, 71 years of age, formerly of New Ringgold, passed away on September 15, 2026, at Jefferson Medical Center Ranson West Virginia.
Born October 8, 1954, he was the son of Ralph Scheitrum and Emmalou (Herring) Scheitrum. David was also predeceased by; grandson Myles Scheitrum; great grandson, Baby Robbie
A graduate of Tamaqua High School, David was a self-employed contractor and worked construction before taking a position with Zaprazny's Inc. in New Ringgold where he worked for over 30 years many years.
David enjoyed swimming in his family’s pond, and listening to Roy Orbison.
David is survived by; wife, of 53 years, Bonnie Lucille (Major) Scheitrum, whom he married June 30, 1973; children, David O. Scheitrum Jr. and his wife Kelly, Holly N. Powers, wife of Jeffrey; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ashley, Katlyn, Kasey, Jesse; great-grandchildren, Tilden, Karmen, Jonah, Kazmina; brothers Benjamin Scheitrum and his companion Nancy Williams, Kevin Scheitrum.
David will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his years of hard work, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him.

Jeffrey Alan Homyak
Jeffrey Alan Homyak, 59, of Orwigsburg, PA, passed away September 14, 2026 in his home.
Born April 14, 1967, in Palmerton he is the son of Josephine (Wolfe) Mariani, and John G. Homyak, Sr..
Jeff was a production manager for Atkinson Industrial for many years.
He is survived by his brothers John G. Homyak, Jr., Jason Homyak and Jamie Homyak; nephews Robert and Samuel; niece, Margaret.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Michelle E. Weikel
Michelle E. Weikel, 61, of Girardville passed away Wednesday afternoon September 16, 2026 at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Ashland on September 19, 1964 she was daughter of the late Mary (Delbo) and Ronald Rockwell.
Michelle graduated from North Schuylkill High School in 1982.
She was of the protestant faith and was a member of Bethany Evangelical Church in Ashland.
Over the years she worked for Trinity Mission in housekeeping as well as housecleaning for others.
She was a member of Good Fellowship Club in Ashland.
Michelle enjoyed her grandchildren and painting.
She was preceded in death by her husband Delton Bolton Sr.; grandson Izack Zaharick; brother Ron Rockwell Jr.; sister Janelle Johnson.
Michelle is survived by; daughter Angela Bolton, Harrisburg; daughter Ashley Bolton, Girardville; son Delton Bolton Jr., Frackville; step father Robert Rockwell, Ashland; sister Karen Rockwell, Lavelle; brother Jack Rockwell (Sophie), Lavelle; sister Ellie Bucher (Dave), Mount Carmel; brother Robert Rockwell, Hamburg; step daughter Mandy Rusk, Weatherly; significant other George Smith, Lavelle; second spouse Gary Weikel, Girardville; grandchildren Nikolas Zaharick, Noriana Morales, Zakary Kluchinsky, Zariah Bolton, Zeplin Bolton, Samson Bolton; aunts, uncles & cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Monday September 21, 2026 at 11:00 am at Bethany Evangelical Church, 15 N 13th St, Ashland PA 17921 with Rev Dennis Snyder officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday morning from 9:30-11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow services at Brock Cemetery in Ashland.

Mark Allen Wolfe
Mark Allen Wolfe, 50 of Kurtz Rd., Pine Grove, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at home surrounded by his family after a 4 1/2 year battle with cancer.
Born on September 21, 1975 in Pottsville, he was a son of Marvin M. Wolfe of Pine Grove and the late Kathleen Louise Renninger Wolfe.
He was a 1994 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
Mark was the owner of Mar-Am Dairy Farm in Pine Grove.
He was a member of the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove where he helped with the youth club and served as usher. His church family graciously surrounded him with much love and support at all times.
Mark was a 4-H Leader for over 20 years for the South Schuylkill Dairy Club and he enjoyed being in the barn, milking cows and being with his family. He was an avid Phillies fan.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Wyatt Parker Wolfe.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife of 32 years, Amy Rhody Wolfe; a daughter, Audrie and husband Adam Koppenhaver of Williamstown; two sons, Ryan and wife Emily Wolfe, Ethan Wolfe, both of Pine Grove; two sisters, Rebecca and husband Todd Morgan of Pine Grove, Jane and husband Dale Imschweiler of Schuylkill Haven; two brothers, Kevin Wolfe, Eric and wife Amy L. Wolfe, both of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews, especially his two nephews, Austin and Collin Abrams who were like his grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Noon at the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, 347 Sweet Arrow Lake Rd., Pine Grove with Ron Brubaker and Gary Wolfe officiating. There will be a viewing on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until Noon at the Church. Interment will follow in the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Pine Grove Area Council of Churches for the Weekday Church School (write Weekday Church School in the memo line) c/o Cathy Nagle 527 Dad Burnhams Rd., Schuylkill Haven, Pa 17972.
