Frackville Man Facing Assault Charges

On Thursday, Frackville Borough Police along with a Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Nicholas Evely of Frackville.

Evely was arrested after he was stopped during the investigation of another incident, as he matched the description of the suspect.

During the encounter it was found that Evely was intoxicated. After being informed that he was under arrest Evely attempted to strike an Officer and resisted efforts to take him into custody. 

Evely was charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, Escape, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Drunkenness, and Underage Drinking. Evely was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post bail.
