Emergency personnel were called to the area of 380 Tuscarora Mountain Drive in Barnesville just before 5:30 AM today (Monday, June 2, 2014) for a report of a van over an embankment.

The Mahanoy City Police Department has filed charges against a juvenile for stealing from a garage in the borough.

The Mahanoy City Police Department took a man into custody Tuesday wanted on charges in Luzerne County and New Jersey.

According to their Facebook Page, Eric Scott Creamer, 23, was taken into custody for several warrants for his arrest in Luzerne County and for burglary, corruption of minors and other theft-related charges in the State of New Jersey.

1 Killed in Early Morning Crash on Route 901 in Foster Township

Just after 4 am, crews were called to the area of the 901 Pub on Route 901 in Foster Township for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

According to Schuylkill County Firewire, 1 person died in the crash.

UPDATE:  8:15am: The man who died was 87 year old, John Sharp, of Belleville, PA.

Sharp died when the pickup he was driving crossed the yellow and struck hit the back of a tractor trailer.
