According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Interstate 81 southbound, near Milemarker 108.5 in Frailey Township just after 11:15am.
Police say Candace Walston, 31, of Raleigh, North Carolina in a BMW attempted to pass Antonio Torres, 48, of Kississmee, Florida driving a tractor trailer.
Walston reportedly lost control on the slushy highway sliding into the trailer. Walston was reported to have suffered minor injuries in the crash.
