Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds, bruises, and defensive wounds to her body.
The woman was able to provide a brief statement to the initial first responders that Kevin Harris, 37, of Pottsville was the person who attacked her and caused the injuries. The victim was treated on scene by Schuylkill EMS and then transported to a medical facility.
Harris was located and taken into custody a short time later.
Following the completion of the initial investigation, a criminal complaint was prepared charging Harris with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
Harris was arraigned and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $30,000 straight cash bail.
