State Police Investigate Hit and Run in Shenandoah

The Pennsylvania State Police from the Frackville Barracks is investigating a hit and run that occurred last weekend.

According to Troopers, the crash occurred sometime overnight on Friday, December 17th into the morning of Saturday, December 18th, 2021 on North Gilbert Street near the intersection with Center Street.

The incident occurred as a vehicle traveling south on North Gilbert veered and struck a parked Saturn SL.

After the crash, the driver fled the scene without contacting the owner.

Evidence of the crash at the scene led police to believe that the vehicle involved was a Dodge, possibly silver in color.  Damage to the vehicle would be on the driver's side front fender or door.
