HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Shenandoah Valley Falls to Upper Dauphin

Shenandoah Valley continued to struggle get their footing as they begin their 2022 High School Football Season.

The Trojans struck and struck fast  during the first quarter of their matchup against the Blue Devils at Veterans Stadium in Shenandoah.

Shenandoah Valley's first drives all went three and Upper Dauphin would take the opportunity to score each time.

Upper Dauphin would score three times in the first quarter including a punt return leading 21-0.

On their first 3 drives of the 2nd quarter, the Trojans would score before the Devils' Dempster and Nick Ryan would connect to score and make the 2 point conversion to go into the half 42-8.

That would be the Devils' only score and Upper Dauphin would score once more in the 3rd, making the final 49-8.

The Devils will go into Week 3 0-2 to face Minersville who are 1-1 after winning over Marian Catholic on Friday night.  The Miners will also be looking for their team's 600th win.
