An Ashland man is facing charges for threatening to kill a woman in Butler Township over the weekend.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Saturday, March 25th, 2023, around 3:45pm, Troopers responded to a home on Germanville Road in Butler Township.

Troopers say Skyler Ruskuski, 23, of Ashland became angry at a 63-year-old woman who refused to give him a ride.  Ruskuski allegedly placed a knife at the victim's throat and told her he was going to kill her.

Ruskuski was taken into custody on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person.

He was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Reiley and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $10,000 straight cash bail.
