The crash occurred just before 11:00pm, Sunday, July 30th, 2023,3 on Route 183 in Wayne Township near the entrance to Lake Wynonah.
The single-vehicle accident took place when a vehicle rolled over and the driver became entrapped. The impact was severe enough to shear a pole at the scene.
When emergency personnel arrived on scene, they reported the driver of the vehicle being a Class 5.
The Schuylkill County Coroner's Office was summoned to the location, and Deputy Coroner Albert Barnes pronounced 58-year-old Michael Walker, of Kulpmont, Northumberland County, dead at the scene.Authorities from the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are actively investigating the incident.
