Schuylkill Haven Teen Charged with Cyber Harassment Following Alleged Instagram Video

A Schuylkill Haven teenager is facing multiple misdemeanor charges after allegedly posting a video on social media that named and made disparaging remarks about several classmates.
According to court documents, Schuylkill Haven Police were contacted on February 19, 2026, by the principal of Schuylkill Haven High School regarding a complaint about a video circulating on Instagram.

Police allege that Darwin Apollo Goerner, 18, of Schuylkill Haven, posted the video on February 18, 2026, to an Instagram account. The video allegedly named four Schuylkill Haven High School students and included derogatory and inappropriate comments directed toward them.

One of the alleged victims, a 17-year-old student, along with her mother, met with school officials and police regarding the post. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the family expressed concern that this was not the first troubling social media post attributed to Goerner. An earlier post from November 2025 was reportedly viewed by the family as threatening in nature.

Authorities say the video was viewed by an unknown number of individuals before the complaint was made. The victims reported feeling harassed by the content of the video.

Goerner has been charged by Schuylkill Haven Police with:

  • Cyber Harassment of a Child – Seriously Disparaging Statements (M3)
  • Four counts of Harassment – Communicating Lewd, Threatening or Similar Language (M3)
