According to a public information release, the incident occurred on the morning of March 27, 2026, at the intersection of Pottsville Street and North Sillyman Street in Cressona Borough.
Troopers say a Fronius AccuPocket welding kit was located at the scene. At this time, the rightful owner of the equipment has not been identified.
State Police are asking anyone who may own the welder to come forward. The owner will be required to provide proof of ownership in order to reclaim the item.
