According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, troopers responded to the Ringtown Wilbert Vault Works at 710 West Main Street in Ringtown Borough on Friday, August 14, for a reported theft.
Police said the complainant reported that an unknown person or persons hacked into a Square credit card reader sometime between August 5 and August 6.
Investigators said the unauthorized access resulted in $4,950 being charged to a credit card.
State Police have classified the incident as a theft and are continuing to investigate.
