Gov. Wolf Announces Expanded PennDOT Technology Pilot to Track Over 700 Plow Trucks

This winter season, more than 700 plow trucks covering interstates and expressways statewide will be outfitted with technology to improve location and operations information through a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) pilot program, Governor Tom Wolf announced today.

High School Student Injured in West Penn Township Crash Wednesday Morning

A Tamaqua Area High School student was injured Wednesday morning in a crash in West Penn Township.

According to WFMZ, the crash occurred around 7:00AM on Route 895.  The student's jeep struck 3 trees then rolled onto it's roof.
