Frackville Man Charged with Stealing Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars from Coal Company
According to WNEP, Mark Wolfe, 62, of Frackville, has been charged with stealing $400,000 from the Gilberton Coal Company.
Wolfe worked for the company for over 30 years and retired from the company in 2014.
An audit earlier this year revealed the missing money.
Wolfe reportedly stole the money by forging checks and from petty cash.
A preliminary hearing is set for November 25th.
Wolfe has been charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and forgery.

HARRISBURG — Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane announced Tuesday a legal settlement with the company Christi L. Jones and Associates, Inc., and its president, Christi Jones. The settlement was filed by the Office of Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection and approved by court order.

A woman reportedly stole lottery tickets from Sam's Place in Cressona Mall around Noon Thursday.
Video posted on Facebook of the theft shows a woman walk in the front of the store, take a handful of tickets, then walk out the front door.

On 11/4/2015 at 2:30am an Rush Township Police Officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and upon further investigation found over 120 bags of heroin on the driver, Nathan Ross, of Nescopeck.

Heroin Found in Drug Investigation
On Wednesday, Frackville Borough Police arrested Hunter Hall of Gordon as the result of a drug investigation in the Borough.
Hall was found to be in possession of 80 bags of Heroin and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Hall was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hall was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $25,000 straight cash bail.

Two Allegedly Steal Fire Equipment from Firetruck at the Scene of Fire Wednesday Morning
According to TamaquaArea.com, a man is in custody and another being questioned after allegedly stealing over $13,000 worth of fire equipment from a firetruck Wednesday morning while crews put out a fire in Tamaqua.
The two males reportedly worked together stealing the equipment from one of the Citizens Fire Company, Tamaqua truck.
