According to the Republican Herald, Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place at the M&T Bank on West Market Street in Orwigburg on Thursday afternoon. The robbery reportedly took place just after 1PM.
Woman Admits Placing Baby in Trash Bag
On the morning of August 5th, A baby's body was found in a trash bag in Blythe Township. The bag was found near 189 Winfield Drive when authorities were called around 3am after a neighbor smelled something in the trash.

Ashland Turkey Hill Robbed Sunday Morning at Gunpoint
According to sources, At approximately 7:30am, someone wearing all tan clothing robbed the Turkey Hill in Ashland Sunday morning with a handgun.
He reportedly stole an unknown amount of cash, gift cards, and cigarettes.
Someone with the same description also attempted to rob a convenience store in Ranshaw, Northumberland County about an hour later.
