A teenager from Schuylkill County has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left two people injured during a private basketball tournament at a Reading recreation center earlier this week.

Comcast has announced the completion of a network expansion that will bring its Xfinity and Comcast Business services to thousands of additional homes and businesses throughout Schuylkill County.

The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a theft that occurred late last year at the Walmart along Plaza Drive in Rush Township.

Geisinger is planning a $2.5 million expansion of its cancer treatment facility in Pottsville, a move health system officials say will significantly increase access to care for Schuylkill County residents while allowing more patients to receive treatment close to home.
