Children's Cold Medicine Recalled for Overdose Risk

Perrigo Company Medicine is recalling some of it's cold medicine due to a potential overdose due to incorrect markings on it's dosage cup.

On Tuesday, the Powerball Jackpot rose again.

A Frackville man has been charged with stealing thousands from the restaurant he worked at.

Just after 9:15am, fire crews were called to the area of the Blue Mountain Summit Restaurant along Route 309, West Penn Township for a reported brush fire.

Reports from passing motorists called stating that there were multiple brush fires along the berm of the road in the area.

West Penn, New Tripoli, and New Ringgold Fire Companies were called to the scene.

The Times News is now reporting that the fires are now under investigation.

Powerball Rises to $400 Million Jackpot

After no one hit the jackpot on Saturday night's Powerball drawing, the jackpot has now risen again.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) reminds customers that a 6 percent toll increase for E-ZPass and cash customers will take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 3, 2016. While the increase impacts cash and E-ZPass rates equally, E-ZPass customers will still save as much as 35 percent on PA Turnpike tolls.
