For over 30 years, workers at the local Postal Service have met with North Schuylkill Elementary Kindergartner students to pick up their letters to Santa.

On Friday, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Anibal Luis Rodriguez, age 27, of Pottsville, pleaded guilty yesterday to conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine, before U.S. District Court Judge Robert D. Mariani.

The Wolf Administration announced Thursday that naloxone will be provided for free to any Pennsylvanian who wants it at nearly 80 locations across the state, primarily at state health centers and county/municipal health departments, on Thursday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., as part of the administration’s ongoing effort to reduce the number of opioid overdoses and get residents into treatment.
