On Thursday, Governor Tom Wolf announced Hollander Sleep Products, LLC, a bed pillow and mattress pad manufacturer, will expand its Pennsylvania operations by consolidating multiple operations into a single facility at the Highridge Business Park in Foster Township, Schuylkill County. The company’s expansion will create 80 new jobs during the next three years.

Brush Fires Reported near Shenandoah Thursday Afternoon
Emergency personnel responded to brush fires near Shenandoah Thursday afternoon.
Around 1:45pm, fire crews were called to the area along Route 924 near the Windmills in Mahanoy and West Mahanoy Township north of Shenandoah for a large brush fire.
Early reports when crews arrived they found two separate brush fires in the area.
All roads in the area are still open. Be aware that fire personnel are in the area.
